The celebration in Racine of our nation's founding is like no other in the Midwest. It's a weekend punctuated with a three hour morning parade down main street. Floats and marching bands, veterans and big vehicles and brightly dressed participants invite you to wave and cheer. Curbside for two miles is the best place to view this spectacular parade. And the atmosphere is definitely family oriented.

As an end to the festival weekend, Lakefront fireworks lift off from a pier on the water. Bright and noisy, you can watch them from all along the lakefront. Another reason why Racine is Great Fun on a Great Lake!
