COME JOIN US IN CELEBRATING OUR 78TH PARADE ON JULY 4, 2014 Welcome to the official web site of Fourth Fest of Greater Racine. Here you'll find everything you need to know about one of the Midwest's largest and most colorful Independence Day parades -- cited by USA Today in 2008 as one of the Top Ten places to be in the country for Independence Day (just behind Washington, D.C.) In fact, the entire Racine community -- some 100,000 spectators of the parade alone! -- is abuzz with Independence Day activities throughout the day.

The theme of this year's parade is "Lights,Camera, Action," giving organizers of our area's festivals and fairs a chance to "strut their stuff" down the 2.6-mile parade route. You'll see all of your other favorites, as well: horses, clowns, jugglers, antique cars, the popular Iwo Jima presentation, servicemen and servicewomen, award-winning marching bands (and drum & bugle corps), colorful floats, dance troupes, sports heroes, school groups, politicians, and other dignitaries -- more than 160 units in all! Indeed, there's something for everyone!

Never been to our parade? Check out our Beginner's Guide.

People are expected to begin lining up along the parade route as early as 5:00 AM on July 4th, 2014.

4th Fest Fireworks

Racine has a fantastic fireworks display on July 4th. Fireworks begin at dusk over the lake at North Pier. The fireworks are viewable all along Racine's Lakefront. Fireworks are sponsored by our good friends: Boucher Auto Group, CITGO STATIONS of Racine and The City of Racine.
